BREAKING: Magixx & Blaqbonez Expose Chart Manipulation in Nigeria’s Music Scene ๐ŸŽค

The heat is on in Naija’s music industry as Magixx has publicly accused certain artists of faking their streaming numbers to skyrocket in the charts. In a blunt X (formerly Twitter) post, he wrote —

“Y’all faking your numbers I hope you sleep well at night… keep deceiving your family members.”

Not one to stay quiet, Blaqbonez jumped in to support the claim, warning that what’s happening is doing “irreversible damage” to the industry. He added:

“The irreversible damage we done to our industry, one day it’d finally come crumbling down… let’s keep acting like the charts mean anything more than a showcase of the people who can afford to buy it.”

He even pointed out how Ayra Starr’s “Hot Body” — a song many expected to top charts — couldn’t make the Top 10 in Nigeria, raising serious questions about the fairness of chart placements.
